One of the Reedin dealer mentioned to me that last week there was dealers meeting in Tariff and Reeding was going to show new gear, yesterday they dropped new vid on YouTube, new bar look like a good improvement over what was already great bar, new colors much nicer and we can see SM V3 as well. Nice to see niche company like Reeding coming in and proving that you can still innovate in such a explored area like bar design.
Lets see how it compares to the similarly designed clickbar (the monoblock line cover). I liked the clickbar but many people were complaining that it sticks if you try to sheet while turning too much.
Click bar definitely does this which some may not mind but for me it really affected the intuitive nature of riding, especially in waves.
The new F-one Line bar also has integrated safety and auto-untwist by virtue of a square cross-section centre PU covering, and claims not to stick during turning but I'd certainly want to hear user reports before buying it. Reedin bar looks very similar to this.
From what I can see the Reedin (and F-one) bars are using a thinner diameter PU on the centre line, which should avoid the sticking issue. The centre PU on the click bar doesn't have much space within the centre hole in the bar, which is what results in the sticking issue.

Looks like a near perfect bar, good with the red on the left and the auto untwist monoblock looks sleek. Wonder if the line spliced are still untapered though
Will definitely consider this bar if it doesn't stick. Can't stand that with the Duotone one (I'm guessing they will try to fix that with their next version).
And I like traditional trim. So in many ways this could be the perfect bar for me.
I know but if I get one I probably need to get pigtails to attach as F-one lines are 4 loops (to 4 knots on the kite). So obviously need these in advance or it ain’t gonna work.
It’s same as on cabrina which is loops on steering lines and knots on front lines but all lines have short pigtails which when removed give you loops on all lines.
