But why C - shape ? how friendly will this kite be for someone who never tried c-shape ?
“Open c” is nothing like a c-shape with the lines near the tips. It is bridled. Also similar shapes can fly totally different. Look at the Core GTS or OR Roam. Way different kites but kinda similar shapes
I think the bigger difference is how high aspect and “lifty” this one will be. I will like it…thats what I keep telling myself!
I was watching Giel Vlugt looping it up in the stratosphere and all over the place and gliding for ever and I thought man that kite looks big.....wait a min...it's a 10m? Wow, aluula is definetely the future.

...an ability to boost and loop in lighter winds than previously possible, with the larger size Rises in 11m and 12m looping like a 9m in traditional materials. And then, as the conditions become more hardcore, so too does the performance of the Rise…
I can agree with that statement, I have not ridden the Rise - but have the 12m aluula Flite and yes even the Flite does some great big air loops and has the float... (originally bought for light wind foiling and a little TT play until I figured out that it just gets better as the wind gets stronger)
Once upon a time, I thought the kite weight stuff was all bullshit - I was wrong, It's all about the 'strength and weight'...
You will not believe it until you ride one !! Other brands needs to get there Big air kites made out of this stuff and then youll see a serious change in Big air comps.
