my daughter is 6' 1" tall and weighs 135 maybe. or in metric,, or 185cm 60kg-ish i am having trouble finding a wetsuit that will actually fit here. it seems most xl womens suits only go up to 5' 9" has anyone found a solution for a rather tall but still slender girl? she is a big baby and i don't want her to get cold while she is winging

I think it’s likely she won’t be able to really perfectly fit a standard sized suit. Note that in water/air temps that are just below comfortable it might be ok to live with a slightly ill fitting suit. Once you get in cold temp territory the suit fit should be as perfect as possible.
What I would do: go to a store with a wide variety of wetsuits and a repair shop and fit as many as possible.
If there is nothing that really fits you can try to:
1) use layers, especially if the legs/arms are ok but the torso is a bit to wide consider wearing a shorty wetsuit or are torso warmer below the suit.
2) get someone from the repair shop in the store and see if they think they can maybe customize a suit a bit.
Another option would be to get a full custom suit. No clue how expensive that’s going to be but it probably is not cheap. A quick Google suggest terrapin makes custom suits:

My daughter is 5'10" and around 135 lbs. I think she has been wearing a size 6 wetsuit - so a little short, but tight fitting. However ... at 6'1" your daughter may be an even tougher fit.
Here's another custom wetsuit maker:

Xcel 10T.
The body must fit.
Do not care about Arm / leg length.
Important is the „core“
If this is too short, it will always be shit.
Better to wide than too short.
Billabong has size 16, but that seems also wide
Good look.
