Anyone know if the issue with the Core Sensor 3 bar was corrected with the early bars or is this still something likely to occur purchasing these days?

This is an update. The issue is not resolved snd I am now on my 5th power line in 18 months.
I’m wondering what other bars work with Core kites

What exactly happens with your power line? I have a Sensor 3, so I'm curious. I suppose pretty much all 4-line bars work with Core, but Duotone or the F-One with variable split point imitates the high V well.

This happened to me recently whilst out in Brazil. The bar had been used about 40 times I would guess. I got in touch with core and got the following message:
There is an update. While the first version still consisted of a whole piece, the update consists of two lines. The casing/cover of the new SSF has been given a new casing. Accordingly the new SSF should last significantly longer.
Apparently they have updated the design which should help things.

Misses wants to buy one of these likely tomorrow. How can you tell the old one that wears and the new one with two parts or whatever?
I personally don’t like the core bar. Not sure why manufacturers aren’t doing away with the high v bars. Would save all the issues. Been using ozone ones on my core kites for years.

The second line in the picture above is the powerline from the sensor 2 bar. Core were offering this as a replacement for the broken sensor three power lines but in actual fact they have not adopted this on new bars that they sell.

Another issue to look out for with your core bar is that the pigtails seem to stretch unevenly which can cause flying issues if you don’t adjust.
