Hey
Are there others who experience heavy fluttering on Orbit´s when they loop?
It is so much that you can feel the vibrations in the bar, even in a regular powered loop.
In the video, it is my 2021 model, but has just received the 2022 model and it does exactly the same
It seems strange that it is not mentioned in some reviews if it is a general problem

Because almost all kite reviews are utter rubbish?
I have no idea about this issue unfortunately, but there are quite a few on Orbits on here so hopefully they can give you some qualified feedback.

Magazines only review the gear of those who advertise with them so they tend to put emphasis on the good things and and when they talk about bad things they tone it down a lot. The other source of reviews is the shops who just bought a bunch kites and need to sell them. The only real feedback is when someone like you mentions a real issue or someone on the forum demos a kite he doesn't own and tells the truth.

Yeah. Good description. It is basically a joke and a bit sad if someone like the OP therefore ended up with a kite he otherwise would not have bought.

I’ve found many kites will flutter if flown aggressively while on the land, however I haven’t found it all whilst on the water….including the Orbit

That vid does not prove anything. One the wind is light enough you are not getting yanked forward and you can see that before the kite flutters it is actually starting to stall. Secondly your a single post user most likely trolling on here.

Agree, you are looping tight in light wind on land?
Almost every kite, okay at least many, will flutter then....
How does it behave on the water riding with power?
If the same, you could be right.
If not, it is pretty normal for kites to behave like this

Most “trolls” make videos now?
Not exactly unlikely that someone has a question they would like to get an answer to and find this forum.
Obviously some are, but it would be a new one sharing your full name (fake I guess then) and a video to “troll” (could also be stolen).
Fair point on the behaviour of the kite though.

The Orbit canopy will flutter when new. As you use/age it, the canopy loosens a bit and the flutter diminishes. It will flutter more or less depending on the type of loop you do.
I've not seen it quite that bad though. Everyone here has Orbits and loops.

North kites are so over rated, I'm sick of hearing about them.
