Yes it's pretty spectacular. I think a static line is involved. Still, wouldn't mind giving it a go..

That's a long static line if it was on all through the ascent! Or do you think the static line got him up to the height of the thermals and then he carried on ascending?
I think Woo has a 15 second timeout for jumps so I don't think it would have registered as a jump.

Very very long... don't know. But seems he's hardly (not ?) moving forward. Spectacular in any case.

I'm 100% going with a static line over thermals now Pemba has pointed it out. I believe sea thermals to be fairly weak, relative, and soft edged although broad. I see gulls in big flocks using them in the late afternoon, nice to watch. I am guessing that Eck triggered his own land thermal?

Thats a bit off the woo thing having a time limit, what's that about?
