argentina, you have no idea, marketing is a huge budgetary cost, and the kitesurfing business is at best seasonal even though it's global.

Hello Vide
Do you have any experience with the bigger sizes?
9 sounds nice but what about 12-16

I have mainly used the 12 which i really like. I have only used the 9 once and it was super windy. The 12 feels steady and stable, and easy for tricks but not as heavy and grunty as my SS 15. (Although the bottom end is almost as good).

i was left Bitter and twisted yesterday from watching wife stay up wind all day on a 135cm switch, 16m lift, 56kg in 9-12 mph only
Funny old wind there at shoreham sat....said 7 - 8 mph on the beach - put up my 16 mt mastair and was completely overpowered had to be helped to the water - weird. - had to change down a size...
But your misses done good.....still when wind did pick up managed to get a few jumps in so the day wasn't that wasted

the other day i went to the beach and saw this strange shaped kite and someone obviously not gods gift to kiting staying up wind on a 12m kite while others were on 14m kites and larger boards. Funny, this strange 12m was turning faster and going faster.
now after a test ride i have one of these new fangled 12m crossbow kites.
so i could fill pages with the pros and cons of this kite but.....
here's a kite that turns like a 12m, has the grunt of a 14m and the high end of 10m. And remember, when it is 12m and you are riding around, that 14m power is still there. Just imagine what this means. Oh, did i mention that it doesn't hindeburg and you can bleed off tons of power on a wave face?
so if you want to ride like my grandma (who is dead by the way, but i bet she would have kitesurfed and ripped so maybe that aint fair to grandma, sorry) you can or you can put the pedal down and ride full out.
depowered kite loops? ask my friend who was trying to show me how much better he is at looping than me, after he scattered his board an booties all over the ocean and will probabaly be peeing red, yeah, depowered, right. Grandma would have liked him.
bridles? come on, i get more tangles in my lines.
ok, i feel better now
tight lines,
David
