NSI Surf n Skim Padz ?

make your own. thats what i am getting ready to do. take a camping pad and cut out shapes or traction pads. take a tnut and put it in a small piece of plywood. make 4 of these tnut housings. cut holes where you want the tnut housings in the pads. use contact cement to put down the pads. it will never come off. use epoxy to put the plywood squares with the tnuts on the board. ((only do this if you are too poor to buy $100 plus shipping nsi pads.))

But I respect the Do-It-Yourself guy because I am one. I try to stay
just a little ahead of you guys but it is tough. So here you go:



Peel and stick surface mount inserts with 3M VHB mounting tape
and 10-32 brass inserts. Cost $5.00 ea. Check my site in a few
days to order. Look for a DIYwood plywood kit coming soon.

Awesome product that works great. The local shop can't keep them in stock but still have a few left. We have them on surfboards and skimboards and they work great.

Ok, I'm ordering a set of these. I suppose you have to stick them on and once on they are really 'on' and never coming off. That means you need to place them perfectly. Any tips? Hein or anyone else?

Bought the padz. Good high quality. Ask for the screws when you order since they are hard to find. Placement was a bit tough. I think I placed them a bit far back for everyday riding, but is the correct placement for waves. I could see a larger pad with spots for two front and back pads being useful since your feet need to be about a foot farther forward for free riding than for surfing. Hey hein if you use my idea you can send me a free set for payment
