North have a habit of putting those little reinforcement dots on the end of their battens so it could well be one of theirs I guess. There's a bucketload of battens on there! Looks like nearly 30 on the leading edge! Even with them there the profile looks a little inconsistent (flat in some sections, curved in others).

Interesting that there aren't any battens on the TE.

There's a bucketload of battens on there!
My first thought was those poor seamstresses must be rolling their eyes on that one!! :lol:

The tip reinforcements also have a north style to them

and the ribs too (as far as i can see from this picture)

I think these seamsters don't really care what how many battens (or bribble/line attachements) they have to make.....

Maybe its the 2008 veags proto, or a new cross-over.

Some friend of me recognized Fabio Igrosso and other kites who he flew was also North softkites
kite was with 5el + something else like traditional BOWs

no center strut...

yeah, tons of battens...but are there really battens inside?

I think there are some designs having this, but no battens?
Does that make sense? Maybe then it does not flutter?
