can you leave your kite in the car
if its hot out, lest say 70-80 degrees, can you leave your kite in the car? will the bladder deform? whats the deal man

I think its best to keep the kite out of direct sunlight in a car (since theres no breeze to cool it and it can get exceptionally hot in direct sunlight)
but I think the kites will have no problem withstanding high 'shadow' temperatures
if the glue can't stand it, it shouldn't be used on kites!
But to be on the safe side its best to leave all of your valves out, that way they won't stretch due to the heat (leaky valves are no fun!!)

Of course you can leave it in the car. Its just that it might not be there when you get back... Kite theft is an issue in some places.
I have heard of people having bladder problems after exposure to high temperatures. Mostly valve plug problems or valves coming unstuck from bladders. I think the reliability of both of those has improved in the last year or two and so now they are less of an issue. It depends on the age of your gear I guess.
Having said that - I've left my gear in the car on a couple of sunny days (deflated and with every bladder open) and never had a problem.

in short. at those temps- out of sight, out of direct sunlight and valves open usually not a problem.

Now, when that is said, yeah keep it out of direct sunlight. I usually don;t keep my kites in the car for longer than necessary. IK think it will hurt the kite in the long run...espacially anything that is glued suffers if it gets too hot. I don't think 70 degrees qualify though...as long as it is out of the sunlight...
