What are C kites up to for 2008?

I think we will be on smaller C kites in 08 that perform better with more range. Wait and see.

I think the gap between bows and C's will continue to narrow. The C kites will work on depower and range while the bows will work on turning. With hybrids thrown into the mix it is now possible to pick a kite almost anywhere in the spectrum from C to bow, its just a question of what the manufacturers think their buyers want.

I think there will be new Hybrid/C kites where you can change something on the bar to switch from one to another. The 2007 C kites where amazing and will be hard to beat if no new tricks are implanted in the control system.

I agree that this will be the trend. One can choose according to wind cnditions or type of riding preferred for that particular session. ( ghusty / wanting to try new tricks / waves etc..)

I have no clue on how Link and Kondor have done on the market but I have heared rumours on other brands moving that way.

I think ckites are gonna keep kicking the shit out of bows in terms of performance and they will get wider wind ranges as well as depower. Hybrid kites are kind of a user friendly happy medium and will become much more performance oriented for 2008. Can't wait to see what happens
