Cabrinha Slider May 27-June 3, Nags Head, NC

Postby Cab Driver » Fri May 18, 2007 6:17 pm

Cabrinha and Kitty Hawk Kites are launching a new massive slider and fun box in Nags Head, NC May 27 through June 3rd. There has been some confusion over what this event is and who is participating, so here is the official word.

The slider will not be open to the public during these dates so that: 1) the safety and structure of the slider can be tested, and 2) for a private photo and video shoot of the Cabrinha team. Feel free to come to meet the team riders, hang out, and ride in the flat waters adjacent to the slider during the opening dates. The slider will open to the general public after June 4th. The majorty of the Cabrinha team, including superstars Andre Phillip, Damien Leroy, Susi Mai, Jon Modica, and Clarissa Hempel will be on hand with lots of other Cabrinha team riders for the opening cermony and shred sess.

Cabrinha and Kitty Hawks Kites apologize for any confusion about the event, and we hope to see you all at the slider in the future!

Who's gonna be in Nags Head for that when the Real Triple S slider comp. is on the same dates? I would assume that most of the riders stated will be at Real.

sounds like a good time. I might have to make it up there for that. Any sneak images of the slider/funbox?

REAL's Triple-S is June 2-8th So they should just head further south for the Triple-S. Check out REALs site in the near future for more info.

KHK has a video of the construction on their site.
