After a few trips to Brazil I have saved enough airmiles for a flight to Lisbon
Been doing some research and I am get the feel that the wind is generally stronger and more reliable in the Lisbon area (Peniche) than in the Algarve? Just wanted to check with some knowledgeable locals! I would be going in the next few days...
Am not bothered by nightlife or temperatures- it's going to be warmer than england! I just want the best wind!
Thanks for any advice...

Go to Esposende, Viana do Castelo or Matosinhos...i think this is the best spots in portugal with strong wing, but Peniche is also good, and Faro i dont Know.

Carekini, we plan to visit Portugal in the end of September, 1 week Lisbon area, 1 week north. What would you recommend: Nova Vaga or Peniche in Lissbon area? 2 years experience in kitesurfing

Hi!
I think peniche is better, you can ride in the lagoon, its near of peniche, in Foz do Arelho, and in peniche you have nice spots with waves in Baleal Beach, and Supertubos Beach.

Thanks for all your replies guys! I think I am sold on both options! Luckily plans are changing so I may well be able start in Peniche, stay there 10 days and then head down the Algarve!
Going second week of August- can' t wait!

In mid August if you lack wind in Peniche, you can go down to Guincho or go up to Viana to have waranteed thermal wind.
See you!
