why would you want to
you can buy a s/hand kite thats had 20/30 prototypes in its development for less money than you could buy the materials

how did you make that?
did you use an old kite as donor for materials?
how did you design the shape
I built one from scratch
more info here

and it is most rewarding (plus its my bread and butter kite now (13-30 knots!))
