Trouble is, them light weight carbon fibre foils ain't light and weigh as much as a pair of heavy ole boots!

So foilboards can be ridden without boots? Cool.
Got any more photos? What are the drawbacks to riding with regular straps?

mango, what's the weight of the full setup? I'm going to guess about 12-15 pounds including the board and straps. That doesn't seem too bad.

Well, true, our original carbon foils were a bit heavier as we were constructing them for surfing. When you fall and the wave slams your foil around it needed to be strong to withstand this abuse. However, now our kite model foils weigh in at 11 pounds with the foot straps give or take a pound of material for each unit. So we have lighten them up from the beginning of our innovations.
We dont build crap and crap is what breaks. None of our products have broken and we perfer to be known as a good investment than a broken one.

When it comes to kiting, how is using a foil board different. What are the positives and negatives. I know they are pretty pricey and weigh more than a regular board. What do you get in return for that. I can't really say I've seen any pics or videos of people doing anything that had that wow factor. I know it lifts you up a little bit out of the water. ok.....and....? This is an honest question, I would really like to know.

That is a great question........
I give you all the reasons under the sun as to the wow factor. But until you try it and make a judgement for yourself you'll never know. Magical Sensation is the first stimulating wow....................Will get the cost down for you in a few more months. How does 700 usd per unit sound?

Sounds like a lot better of a price when I was looking at them last year. I checked a few out last summer online and they where all in the 2000 dollars range. Too bad no one has on locally for me to try out. Wouldn't mind taking one for a spin. So since I can't try one out anytime soon think you could try answering those questions. What do ya think about them and why.
