Actually, you can "claim" anything that you "do". In this case, the claim is a sick-ass kite loop without a completed landing. Claimed. Done.

and then you would be labeled a claimer.
lots of crew can almost land a 1080 behind a boat. But only 2 actually can, they are the only people who can claim it.
land it and claim it.

Geez. I thought the vid was awesome. It's not like they claimed jack on here, except saying "wow".
Nice clip Neil.

And the others can claim... "almost landing a 1080 behind a boat." Sounds pretty sweet to me! Something worth claiming, for sure! Same with the sick kite loop that this guy did - without landing. Nobody ever claimed any different, and I'm sure he wouldn't either. But still an impressive claim! Don't bring your elitist attitude to the beach or out on the water. Negative vibes suck.

That is sick, but honestly I've seen Tucker Sherman go bigger in same wind, higher but maybe a bit less sideways on a Rev. Rev boosts higher and recovers faster than that, but loops just as low.
I really hope everyone stays alive this year because these new kites recover loops so well they make you feel like you can pull Ruben moves, but the consequences of failing are still the same. My damaged ribs are proof.
Oh yeah and Tucker if you read this stay in school kid! You ain't Ruben!
