January Options (for a couple)

Postby colinryan » Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:15 am

Hi,

Flying from Ireland and looking to get away from the winter for a fortnight with my wife in January.

My basic criteria or Jan are as follows:

- > 50% probability of wind average > 12 knots
- average air temperature > 25 degrees (i.e. not winter)
- option of flat water spot for progressing
- couple friendly - food/drink/other amusements etc.

I'm looking around the Carribean at the moment and would love some feedback from people who have done similar trips and to get some other opinions.

Much appreciated!
C.

Colin,

Cozumel, Mexico has everything you are looking for. It is a great spot to take the wife. The Country Club area is some of the nicest kiting on the island. Very kite friendly spot for both beginners and experienced. Side shore wind and warm crystal blue Caribbean water.

First Choice Airline are flying to Cozumel direct from Gatwick every week. Not sure about flights from Ireland. The condo is only 5 minutes from the airport and overlooks the kiting area.

check-out http://www.cozumeltom.com for the condo info and http://www.cozumelkiteboarding for the general kiting info.

With the poor state of the US dollar, your vacation should be a bargain.

Feel free to contact me if you need more info.

I have availability after Jan 22 or can find you other accommodations in the Country Club area to fit your dates.

Tom
