yeah i notice the 5 knots..... i attached mine to the last knots..... once on the last knots, i used the trim on the bar to tune the kite..... this kite is crazy... got me moving in 8-9 knots... i might get planing in 6-7 if i use one of surfboards.... a great light wind kite!! looks like i'll be kiting the whole year round......

have not tried the high end yet..

I received an email from Wind-X. They say start with center/front lines on middle knot and back lines on last knot (furthest from kite). From there, adjust for preference or wind conditions.

How much do you weight? And what board did you had for the 8-9 knots?

the monsoonz by wind-x is no doubt the most used kites for me right now...

but how do you guys compare the upwind ability of the 17M monsoonz? i can point higher than anyone on my 10M and 14M in winds of 13-24knots (tested so far)... but in the wind that you mentioned (7-8knots), can the 17M still go upwind??

Lets say that I didn't end up downwind at 7-9 kts. See viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2345862&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i am about 83kgs and i use a 141 north x-ride...

i can tell you that i felt quite new to the kite's behaviour.. with this kite, the longer you are with it, the better the feeling becomes.... very different from the other kites i have rode on..... and believe me, its powerful...
