Unfortunately if you buy 2 kites, you need to buy 2 bars. I would have preferred them to use a system like Nobile and save the cost of a bar. Any benefits described for the EVA ends do not sound worth the cost of another bar.
Have the wind charts for the previous Xbow and Contra been changed? The Xbow4 windrange seems to have extended in comparison. I hope they finally settle on the new way of showing the range and use it for all future kites.
With 1:1 control bars I hope they have minimised the size of chickenloop that comes with the IDS bar. They may have removed the swivel, due to the asymmetric release (which I think they should have made symmetric).
I liked the way the kite turned over, landed and sat in the video when the stage2 was activated, but we will have to wait and see if it always behaves as well.
Now we have to get rider feedback. For the next jobs for the design team, I would suggest a bar that fits both a 16m and a 10m and an improved depower adjustment system. The current one is good (maybe the best) but it still has problems.

Cool how they have gone from advertising with 100% depower to absolute depower...

I dont see any difference between the 9m2 08 and 09 model, but Cabrinha has changed the original wind range chart, the original can be seen below:

Do you know if the new IDS kites will automatically come with the new Airtime orange bladders, or will be an option to order the kite with them?

Great videos!
But, please compare the 1:1 system against 2:1 system regarding depower. I have always had 2:1 Cab. kites, and in the upper windrange, and when gusty, I push the bar out a lot to stay in control. With only two kites in my quiver (Switchblade 1 9m2 and a Contra 1 14m2, getting a Crossbow 08 9m2 in a few days), my concern is that the new 09 1:1 bar makes it more problematic to use the 09 kites in the upper windrange compared to with 2:1 kites since my arms must be stretched out a lot more. Can you give some information regarding if my concern is valid or not?
Also, have you tried the 09 13m2 and the Contra 14m2, if so, can you compare the two kites? According to Pete Cabrinha, the 13m2 09 replaces the 14m2 Contra....
