Hi,
well there's no surprise there. It's a well known fact that hydrofoils are way more efficient than kiteboards and are a perfect low wind match for a good (not to say perfect) light wind kite.
Nice to see the proof though. Thanks for sharing.

Impressive low wind machine,
but in my opinion it is insulting to certain viewers
DrLW
Because of the cons and high wind flyers.
A lot of riders don't give a crap to invest and to enjoy light winds ridings.

Good vid and numbers... Cool how that board slices through water...
When really light not to waste a day... when it's low... LEI's drop and the 19 just stays up since it's so light and powerful... Darn lulls... sometimes just that extra power gives you so much more riding time... doubles +... Our most beautiful warm summers are light winds... time to enjoy...

Another kiting on the edge of lows...

I'm wondering why a smaller surface under the water is more effective than a larger surface on the water.
Someone may explain please
Thanks

I think the foil board produces lift like a wing - reduces your apparent weight therefore makes the kite more efficient
