I have checked out a few forums and there are so many people up in arms about Kevin.
Why?
He has taken a serious beating and is trying to tell the world to keep your safety leash attached to something safe =1 line
Maybe all these angry people are bow kite investors, shop owners with a shop full of kites with rubbish safety systems.
Sucked in dumbow

Wasn't he on a 9m C-kite? I don't think it would matter if he was flying a dishrag, this retard is fucking dangerous and has no business pumping up a kite. This goes for all the retards that were out that day.

Yeah. He was on a C-kite. That's a fact. But facts have never dissuaded EP in the past.

maybe the next video we see is EP flying through the air on his trusty C-kite. I don't think safety or release systems mean jack shit in this incident. This is pure idiocy kiting in a hurricane scoping out the turtles.

C kite or dickwad bridle kite.
Why wasnt his leash attached to a 100% depowering line?
Did he think his kite would depower enough!
Like a dumbow kite claims from the chicken loop.
Complete dangerous claims from dumbow marketeers and retailers with shops full of crap bridle kites.
Remember dumbow rider, depower is over rated .
Safety leash goes to 1 flagging line not a bridle system.
Windwankerguy, your the dickhead riding a c kite with bridles, why dont they make flat kites anymore?

I ride both styles of kite. I like both styles of kite and a single line flag safety is key to both for safety but that shouldn't trump common sense. Don't kite in a hurricane!!! Unstable wind not only sucks to kite in anyway but little Kev just proved to the world that it is extremely dangerous. This argument isn't about what style of kite is safer, it's about how stupid we are when we make the decision to kite or not.
