Hi guys! what do you think about this new "saftey" chickenloop? Does it work?

it seams to be fairly simple but effective.
Does anybody have experience using it? Compared with Wichard snapshakle?

Here is a translation.
This safety device an essential piece of equippement for all kitesurfers. This chickenloop stays well connected with the hook of the harness but it has a small red ball which is easy to seize and at the same time well protected against inadvertent release. The chickenloop can be opened and it is thus possible to release your kite instantaneously and to disengage you from the kite and its power without risk. The 6 mm rope is sufficiently long to be used directly on a Clam Cleat. This device can also be changed or adapted to any other bar system. If one had to choose only one piece of safety equipement this would be it!

Thanks for the translation!

So what do you guys think about this? Toby, how do you think this compares to the quick release depower loop on the X2's? Maybe this would be a way to upgrade if the X2 quick release wears out too soon?
