i'm 85kg, riding in a whole range of conditions from flat/choppy/waves,
Thinking of the 130 x 40.5 or 125x 39, but have always ridden smaller boards 38cm max, but wider seems to be the norm these days!
anyone have any experience?
Thanks
I weigh 84kg and have been riding the 130 and the 135 for a few weeks now. The 130 is definitely the board that I prefer to ride in straps. I think the 135 will be my bindings board.

I set up the 130 with the wide stance, have been riding it in choppy conditions in 13mph to 22mph winds, mainly on my 12m Boss.

This is my favorite board I have ridden to date. Cuts upwind (although you need to ride the fins and the board a bit flatter than my Lunacy), cuts through chop and feels rock solid under the feet, has good pop, and holds an edge nicely. Also, the transition to toeside, etc. is super quick the board just rolls over (I think has something to do with the sawteeth on each end of the board). Finally, the rocker on the board makes landings smooth and soft.

The pads are very comfortable, although I do wish they would have formed in a depression or ridge to curl my toes over.

They seem to handle punishment too. I had a few kiteloops where I completely stacked the board from about 20-feet up and the board, and my knees and ankles, are still in one piece.

I have som great feedback on the board from Sweden (www.wainmansweden.se). Lots of people have been testing and so far everyone is very positive!

Depends a little bit also on your style
if you ride alot with power in the kite
then a small board is fun.

but for more allround i'll settle for the 1.30

(I ride them all, but most times i use the 1.30 my weight is 75kg )

Sup gang? I just got the 130 Blunt and thought you guys might want to see the whole package. I must say, Lou & 'em thought things from A-Z. I love the little details this company puts into their products. When you receive the board, you will get:

-Board Bag
-Bag with pouch (for your accessories)
-Screwdriver
-Fins & Screws
-Handle
-Pad & Straps

You will be all set

Cheers :bye:

my last board was a 128/39.

i have to handle gusty condition. not a big deal with my smoke and gyspy.
40,5 wide for the 130 make me hesitate and
the 125 long too.
i dream about a 130/39
my style is a mix of old school big jump and wake style tricks.

is it easy to control the edging with the 40,5 wide during a gust for a 70kg rider.
gust here is 20 to 35 knts or 25 to 45. that's depend of the wind direction.

thabks for time and help
regards

The board holds an edge really well. I have not ridden it in a gust of 20, but in 5-10 gusts, it works.
