any evo 2009 6m review??

Postby gwechall » Thu Jan 07, 2010 6:10 pm

Hi guys,

I was looking for some reviews about the 6m evo 09 and i just read things about the 7m :jump:
I'm looking for a small kite to complete my Wainman smoke, so i'm looking for a same kind of feeling (grunty, stable, precise,fun...) and to perform well from 25/27kts. Can i use it with my wainman bar (non Y line bar)?
Thanks to all :thumb:

Why not just get a gyspy or bunny? I find having all the same kite makes you a lot more consistent.

It is a 6.5m I think they just call it a 7 for the range to flow better. Gypsy is stunning , tunable from fast to slow to turning, covers I think 8m-5m had mine out in 60mph in Nov on 17m lines. Got huge range top to bottom, even if the new one 0.5mbigger(which I doubt!) by the time you find the top end you want be able to stand up on the beach.

Here people try them both (6.5 and 7) the same days and really feel a diffrence, the 7m was smother (what can be good for someone), less "explosive" and have less hangtime and lift!! me too i tought that it will be the same kite end they just put 7m to be a better quiver next to the bunny but they are different! here some people want to downgrade to the 2009 model

Hi
I have the 6m evo. I toke the 6m instead of the 7m because I'm only 70 kg....
I'm 100% happy of this kite.
Ciao
Fabrizio
