I've been hearing some really great things about the new 2011 Slingshot Rally. For those of you who have ridden this kite. What type of rider will best be suited for this kite. Is it a kite that everyone will benefit from its flying characteristics? When will this kite be available at the kite shops?

Pretty sure they are targeted at anyone from beginner to advanced. The super easy relaunch and stable characteristics make it a great all around kite. The guys at all out kiteboarding have a description on their website. I also think they have them in stock already possibly...

I've flown the Rally in light winds and in higher winds on a 10m and really liked it. It is NOT a light wind kite and is hard to get out of the water in super light air but is a GREAT freestyle and wave kite. Very fast in the window with lots of pop. The bar pressure seemed to be slightly more than the RPM which I liked. Very unique profile...If you want specific info shoot me a question.

What is the low and high end of the 10m and what is your weight?

Salesman are so funny sometimes.......
(Should I point out who wrote the article?)
Not sure who bavdftr is, but at least he waited a half hour to make it believable
Thanks for the giggle you two, and best of luck with the Rallys.
I am looking forward to trying them also!

Yes, I'm mildly retarded, but why would Mcampa20 post this when he put up the article that you linked to his website? I have met Mike and John both and have zero problem with them, or AOK, but that struck me as pretty darn funny.
With that being said, I'm sorry to have included you in his covert pimping operation, if in fact you weren't involved.
And, BTW, I currently ride Slingys myself- great kites!
As I said before I am looking forward to trying them, hence my interest in this thread in the first place.
