One size bigger Frenzy or Manta in combination with Flow or Method is also an option. I think Flow, because of its price.

[kiteforumtv]We seem to use the big kites most of the time I use a 12 or 13. Are you on skis or a board? Wayne[/kiteforumtv]

Zob, I'm 85kg and I use really fat skis almost all the time. Seventy percent of the time I'm on my 12m Manta3 (although this year I will be flying the new 13m Frenzy). If your snow is deep or soft, the bigger kite is necessary to be powered.
Last weekend when the "spring-like" snow was frozen, I was out on a 10m. A couple other kiters were out on 8 and 9m kites. One guy flew a 12m. As the snow softened and could be pushed around, the 10 still worked going uphill fine but the guy on the 12m was getting more hang time going down.

I ride a board 165 cm (freeride). In ride in 2 very different places. The one near home has low winds and soft snow (but usually not very deep), and the other has strong winds and frozen snow.
Noah, what was the wind speed during the sessions you mentioned?

Veterans Day was another killer. More snow, fantastic winds, stunning sunset...
This is why I still live here!
