I would like to know more about the sand erosion on all of the beaches from Hookipa to Sugar Cove.

What's it look like to you guys on Maui?

After reading the thread heading I was expecting to see similar things as in Japan. I was honestly expecting to see total chaos and destruction with cars, houses, etc. all strewn throughout the beaches and area on Maui. Glad this wasn't the case, but Toby, this seems a bit sensationalistic.

On the subject of Japan...I sure hope the nuke plants don't fail. The mass destruction is bad enough. Best wishes to anyone who is impacted by the earthquake and tsunami.
