Add "the absence of a clearly recognizable 'irony/sarcasm' emoticon on kiteforum" to the list, then?

that's your list of complaints..really?! people asking if they can help you is a pet peeve? people who don't do everything the same exact way you do everything is a pet peeve?

ok, here's one of my pet peeves: people like you.
I have always been "very polite" to"all " who offer help to launch/land :D ..for i have "nearly" always self launched and landed for almost 13 years (over 3,000 times) ...the question just gets a little old "for me and only me"(the pet peeve definition) after awhile...i bless theirs hearts :heartface: to offer their services ...i always say: that is so nice of you to offer your help...would you like to see how i self-launch or land...and "all" are thankful at my "joy" to demonstrate and are amazed how SupaEZ i make it look...my reputation is all about patience,kindness and sharing my knowledge of the wind so: :respect1:

So you are saying that you kite an average of 230 times a year? I call BULLSHIT.

230 days out of a year, (365 to choose from) ;
that only represents ,( 63% ), of the total # of days in a year that you claim --SupaEZ--
had kited.
Seriously -- that's NOT that many.
BUT
You took this quote and divided 13 into 3,000 and immediately assumed that was the
number of days he kited in a year
SupaEZ wrote: ...

...
But he actually indicated 3,000 as the # of times he self-launched & landed,in that quote ;
what if he had two sessions each day ?
That would only be 115 days a year in 13 years !!

I Like This quote of --SupaEZ-- :
SupaEZ wrote: my reputation is all about patience,kindness and sharing my knowledge of the wind so: :respect1:
I'd like to be more like That !!

& even if i HAD a bunch to share about kiting, (which i don't)
It would be difficult to do so with people like --72kiteboarder--
who take stuff completely Out of context !!

SO my new Pet Peeve is :
People who are ready willing, but sometimes Not so able
to Crap on anyone at anytime for anything they say !!

Yep -- That kinda includes ME . (sigh) ;
but i can work on Changing that !!

SupaEZ does not make things up. He is more than likely being conservative in how many days he kited this year. I know firsthand/fact that last summer he had one stretch that was 35 days back to back. Where he lives he can kite Any wind direction. :jump: :cool2: What would be the point of making that up?

My pet peeve is when someone says they jumped 10 feet high, but they failed to subtract their height meaning they didn't even get past the Ladies Tees!!! :cheers: :coffee: :dance2:
