First, with the advent of 3 strut kites,is one-pump really necessary?
It just makes any repair much harder.
and you can get the struts as hard as you want them...
and loosing it would shave some weight.
I am looking for a new kite, that has these parameters >
Delta/C,3 struts,no pulleys,and preferably no 1-pump(currently only wainman/best?)
I know > wainman/slingy rally/ozone reo.
any else?
does the naish park have pulleys?
what about switch,herd they're coming out with a delta/C
I wish more kites would come with a pulley-less bridal option(wainman wins there)
Are the ozone reo/slingy rally the only delta/hybrids with no pulleys stock?
I have flown 1st gen. wainmans, bandits, ralley and ozone reo
all seemed to lack one thing or another....am i too hard to please?
I am sure any of the above would work fine really...just wondering others thoughts.
It's hard to get a real feel for a kite in a 30-40 minute demo,...ya know?
I liked the reo(8M),but the low-end seemed to lack,other guys w/similar weight
were out on 7M's and surfboards, and it did'nt feel super smooth through the window
it accelerated and got shot out the other side.>(was'nt the best wind>17-30kt)
wainman 2Gen. look nice Narrower L.E.> faster(?)
time to go back to a true c?I learned on em',when that's all there was,i took my licks.
If you ride places that get gusty and up & down,
it's nice to have the DE-power and added wind range.
I am a all-around free-ride kiter,surf,wake-style,old school boosts,cruzin'
i ride a 5'10 thruster,a 5'8 fish,a couple twins,a wake-skate,and i snowkite.
And i want one kite that does it all,and does it well.
thankx for any imput!
