That is call a Paraskiflex! Invented in Quebec for winter and is way easier to learn and start the sports. We give lot's of lessons and peoples learn to ride in 30min. http://paraskiflex.com/
This week-end we had a provincial snowkite competition, around 40 participants in each race where present, good level of riders too. The wind on saturday was between 5-12 knots and unstable. I did three race with the Epic Racer 17m and three with the Flysurfer Speed3 21m when the wind was at his lowest. I end up finishing 5th with a third place on both kites.
On Sunday, the wind was between 6-16 knots and again unstable. I did all the six races with the Racer 17m. I was able to get the bronze medal.
I am at 192lbs and for me the best wind range was 8-14 knots and I was able to finish a race in 2nd place when the wind was around 10-12 knots. The kite is a bit unstable when park over your head, you need to move it constantly. This was problematic for me with all theses riders just before the starting flag was raise so I was unable to start in the first half, I was always near the end so it was difficult to come back but this kite goes upwind very good at great speed. Once you ride it, it is super stable and want to go fast. I really like the racing performance of this kite and I am already looking forward for the 14 and 11m. I was riding with 27m lines.
At the end of the second racing day, I did a lot of nice floaty jump and this is an other great aspect of this kite in fact, jump very easy and float for a loooong time!

Seb - I am glad to hear that you liked the Racer kite. I have been looking forward to getting it here to test and I am super excited to get the Racer here in Montana for the 5th Annual Georgetown Lake Open (GTO 5). We will be running kitercross races and I will be using the Racer for them.

Hello guys,
I know you have been waiting to see the Race Bar that we have been working on. From all your inputs, we were able to come up with this prototype Race bar. Again please let us know what you think. Do you like to have a Grab Handle at the end or just a simple grab?
Once again thank you so much for all your help with all your ideas.
