What do you think will become classic collectables

Postby WildDuke » Sat Aug 18, 2012 11:16 am

Inspired by the fella that recently scored a 8.5 Wipika, I just purchased a 2009 Slingshot Lunacy for under $300. I bought it because to me it was a cult classic board that slingshot doesn't make any more. Is there any other gear that you think should become collectable classics?

Hi John,

I agree on that. That's why I have 3 of them.

I hope somebody can convince Mark Shinn to get them into production again with having the choice of having the gorilla facing either in one or the other direction (can be done with placing the screws so the pads/straps can be mounted either way).

Cheers

I hope someone thinks my Hana Crew Stealth Slim is a collectable!!!

...because it is hanging in my garage in cherry condition and I'd like to sell it. :)

It is a sweet board. Nothing else rides like it. Great pop, but the flex is like kiting on chop absorbing nike air sneakers. So soft and smooth in the water.

The jiffy-pop kite. I had the honor of landing a friends hellfish and having it explode in my hands.Truly memorable.
