Thanks for your interest GregK. I'm STOKED that you seem to appreciate the kite's simple approach.
I'm not aware of any committed development of similar kites by other brands. As Boardriding Maui is a new independent project, it has been super refreshing to be able to share information openly, including to friends that work for other brands. With all the positive feedback from everyone that's ridden them, there's no doubt that the responsive handling characteristics made possible by this design makes this is a new category of kite that's here to stay. Some have called it the biggest innovation since the bow kite. I'm overwhelmingly thankful for support like that.
All sizes of cloud are in production, targeting a Jan/Feb release. Website is in the works. Till its launch, information is being updated regularly on facebook (new video posted last night from holiday weekend session on the 17m).

Cool, I'm glad you're continuing on. Good to know the elegant simplicity won't be lost with complex added features & marketting jargon tacked on by a big-name brand.

I have noticed on the videos, that on your bar setup that you don't have anything to depower or power the kite, except for pushing up on the bar or pulling down on it, is this by design or just preference? BTW looking for forward to demo one in San Diego, any chance of getting one here?We would need the 17M.

One-pump is a nice standard feature on this kite.
