That's really cool! I wish more manufacturer's did that. With many, it's pretty much random what you're going to get and everyone argues that it's all about the performance. True, it's got to fly nice, but when you are spending $2K on a kit, it's nice to enjoy looking at it up in the sky! As opposed to saying, "ugh, look at that ugly <insert least favorite color> kite up there! well, at least it flies nice."
The price seems about right as well. Pretty low, actually. Burton let's you custom design any of their top end snowboards but the customization price is a lot higher.
