I weigh 175 pounds and was very well powered on a 12 and a 132cm TT with wind about 20. girl weights 110. she was behind me with arms around my chest like a 'piggy back ride' and I could get up out of the water but couldn't ride. I even looped the kite but not enough power to keep going. so i'm thinking either i need to be way overpowered (12 is my biggest kite so couldn't try bigger) or maybe a surfboard but then how can I possibly gybe with a girl on my back. any ideas? Maybe this is like kite and board sizing for a 300 pound guy...kiting with girl on back

kiting with girl on back
I tried kiting with a girl riding on me like the virgin airlines dude but it didn't work. Has anyone done it? I'm starting to think that picture from him with the naked girl was a fake. well yes if you are 175 and the girl is 110 it would obviously be like kiting while 285lb. why would you even ask that?

she is too heavy!
you need lots of power in the kite to get that much extra weight out of the water!
Much easier if you get her standing on the board as well, like in the above video.
The picture from Branson is not a fake, it is possible...I did it already too...even with a heavier lady.
