You could always go for one of these Mutare boards. Carbon split board, double concave, been around since 2009.

I've had one for a few years and have had to patch up the carbon with some epoxy where I managed to grind through it, but it's stood up to a fair amount of abuse (including airline travel).

Got to ride the Flysurfer split board last weekend. Very smooth ride in choppy conditions. Was a bit underpowered, so can't offer a full review yet. But, there is no way i could tell that it's a split board just by riding - felt like a normal freeride board. Super easy to put together and take apart. Pins were a bit hard to insert at first, but after putting a drop of silicone lube in the holes, it because very simple.
Tried it with the Naish Trip (strut-less kite) - works well together and you can fit both in a carry-on when you travel .
A customer demoed this board a few days later and wrote a review on this page:

Will also be getting the Nobile Splits soon and will report back on these.

for majority of kiteboarders, who just want to cruse around with an occasional jump and a back roll, this gear is already as good..
