Second use of my new Cabrinha Contra 17M and the leading edge bladder blew. When investigated I found three blown holes and two more that were stretched ready to go. Inflation was normal as was handling. NOT happy. Anyone else experiencing issues?

strange... my Contra still going strong, in fact all my 2014 Cabs are going strong... also never heard of any issues.
Did you buy from a dealer / shop? Did you speak to them yet?

Yes the kite was purchased from a dealer and I have raised the issue with Cabrinha. I expect a whole lot more when you pay good money for a new kite. These are not cheap.
I have a friend that today used his Contra for the second time, also a 17M, and it also had a bladder blowout. Small hole ij the leading edge also near the wingtip. He was not happy also. When I learnt of this I shared my experience just a few days ago. Too much of a coincidence. I would be interested to see if others are experiencing the same issue.

Odd that you go straight onto a public forum and whinge rather than deal with your dealer to have it repaired.

It is very rare to have a new kite blow out for no reason. Where do you kite?

Windrupted...... for your info the matter has been referred to the manufacturer so don't be so presumptuous. A forum of this nature is good to share experiences, issues, concerns, etc. What value are you adding with your comments!!! Others seem to have issues also so let's here about these.

blow outs and stretching near the wing tips? sounds like they didn't fit the bladder in the LE sleeve properly in the factory. if there is space enough for bladder to expand it will blow out.
i always inflate my new kite for the first time half way and give a good "massage" to all bladders just to place them right in their sleeves. and i make sure the bladder film doesn't show from the strut tips and wing tips.
they claim they inflate every kite at the factory before shipping, but i have seen new kite with the bladder peeking out of the wing tip.
