That was a walk of shame
Stupid me. I wanted to record a temple from short distance and there was not enough wind to escape from a trap bay.
Luckily no damage to a board and just two scratches on a foil front wing.
It's a pity a gopro attached to the kite did not record it
In the full version this chapter will be looked closely

I managed to build and sell couple test boards.
Still got two available boards for sale.
These two went to Belgium and Spain:
Another three almost ready to go. Today I am going to test one of them with Maks Zakowski riding Sword:
This model will go first for today's testing:
I'd like to apologize to non-EU riders. It is not practical and financially viable to send my boards outside EU at present moment.

Hi Marek,
your boards looks just great
Since you have a lot of experience with Moses, can you share the position of the strut inserts respect to the front/back straps?
I saw you have two inserts sets. Is that for Vorace/Silente or for both?
Keep up the good work!!
Antonello

Antonello - here you are
for Silente:
For Vorace - you got two options:
a) move all strap inserts 5cm forward if you wish to use the same "strut" inserts (Moses call it "a drift") ,
b) move strut inserts 5cm backwards if you wish to use the same strap inserts.
I saw you have two inserts sets. Is that for Vorace/Silente or for both?
On the beginning I had two separate "strut" insert sets for Silente and Vorace.
Nowadays I use option a) and there is only one strut insert set for Silente and VoRace. I've added more inserts for straps.
There are additional experimental mounts for Sword, Sword2, all Carafino (till 2013 models) on the latest 3 boards
Without fun of foilboarding I would never tried to build such stuff

Thanks,
In a first board I used that original Moses setup to find the pushing center (basically in the middle of the 255mm dimension in the sketch) but I set a strap stance of 50-55cm. I'm riding an "Unicum" (very similar to Silente)
That was working great at the beginning (much better than the original Moses board), but now that I go faster (as fast you can ever go with that foil) I moved my strap position 5 cm forward to compensate for the extra lift.
Does this make sense to you?

It does.
My latest 3 boards got a min possible stance 45cm and max 70cm.
It looks that Sword requires wider stance than Vorace.
And some tall riders prefer extreme wide stance. My preferable stance for Vorace is the same as yours.
My height is 175cm and yours?

Almost the same: 178x 73kg
Stance is ok, the main issue is that, if you start going fast, you need to move forward by 5cm.
I was considering this while modifying my next board (north nugget)

Hi Marek, very nice boards. Having built many boards over the years I can appreciate the time that goes in to making a product of this quality..
I have the Moses Silente 2013 with a board exactly the same as you posted above. The stance width for that board is only about 40cm. I find that uncomfortably narrow so was planning on dropping some new strap inserts into the board to give it a 3 strap option and also to widen the stance to 50cm. I cant really move the rear strap back any further than the most aft hole. Do you think that simply dropping some new inserts that moved the front foot forward 10cm would unbalance the board if I had the rear strap as far back as possible?

The original Moses board is too small. That's a fact. Period.
I modified a north rocketfish (45 cm wide) and it changed my foiling. Lately I modified a north nugget (53 cm wide and a lot of volume) and again a huge leap in easiness and performances.
Happy ride

Ok Antoine, I have an old gen 1 skillit. Maybe I should modify that and leave the Moses board as it is. Any pointers on the mods? Thought I might try dropping in a couple of us fin boxes as sliders to get the balance right.
