They are screwed big time... Still no champion, the superfinal has priority on the singles so everybody is fucked... Those wishing to compete in this event and those who still do't know where they stand from the last one... Congrats to Annelous Lammerts for her 3rd place, beating Bruna is worth mentioning...

agreed - plus I definitely do NOT want to watch the best riders in the world doing one-footers and deadmen - bit like booking the Foo Fighters then telling them they're only allowed to play 'the birdie song' or 'agadoo'

Agree. But as the big money cast an eye on kitesurfing and bought the tour, you'll see them cater for the masses. At least you'll see them try

let it be 20 min in total they will loose. not that of a drama.

IKA Executive Committee decision regarding the Women's Final at PKRA Pingtan
Following the recent incident during the PKRA event in Pingtan, the IKA Executive
Committee has requested and received statements from the involved parties (Gisela
Pulido and Karolina Winkowska) as well as from Head Judge, Contest Director and
from the PKRA riders committee.
We have considered the facts presented during the IKA Executive Committee
meeting held in Palma on November 3, 2014.
The Racing Rules of Sailing, which also apply to PKRA competitions, do not allow
any races (or heats) to be held outside of the published competition dates. Therefore,
if at the end of the competition an unbreakable tie remains (riders had lost one heat
each in the double elimination), both riders shall be scored equal position. In this
case, both riders shall be scored first.
We direct the PKRA to score both Gisela Pulido and Karolina Winkowska as first
place in the Pingtan competition.
The IKA Executive Committee:
Mirco Babini (President)
Bruno de Wannemaeker (Vice President)
Markus Schwendtner (Executive Secretary)
Adam Szymanski
Olivier Mouragues
Richard Gowers
Robert Vincent Dean

If you are a competing in a competition where the result is up to the judges, you will often feel that the judges were not right if you loose. And maybe they were not - but when a result is announced this is it! It can never by 100% fair when personal opinions make a choice. Dont try to have the game re-runed. You just have to swollow it, and the judges should maybe look intern and step up their game too for future events.
I completely agree with you.
Anyway Karolina is word champion unless she end this stop in 4th place and Gisela in 1st.
So we can say Karolina won the title off the water. Well done.

that's real welcoming to the females dude.
I think they are great riders and wonderful ambassadors to the sport. They are certainly as competitive as any male.
