Bidirectional splitboads

Here around it is an issue to walk (on skis, snowshoes or not) up to reach the areas without trees to do our snow kiting sessions. Splitboard is an answer to snowboardkiters wishes, but there are troubles, no challenges (trouble is more interesting than challenges in my opinion). Ordinary splitboards are directionals for powder and other conditions.

But for kiting we need bidirectionals for various conditions. Happy about suggestions. It might be a tiny market, but perhaps we can get a list of models and manufacturers which is more updated than "google search".

Not sure if they still do, but voile made a diy split board kit at one time. I made 2 twins with diy kits, pretty simple job really. Rip the board in 2, epoxy the cut edge to seal it and then use the supplied template to drill your binding pucks.

Never Summer makes 3 different split boards that carry the longest warranty in the business. Long time fan here, 10 seasons of snowboard instructing so I base my opinion off of experience.

3B is a Utah company that has been making snow kite boards for a long time, they are the best riding snowkiteboards hands down, and offer splitboard models with all hardware, or solo.

Been in the same position and looked at everything out there available in Europe..
Ended up purchasing a Libtech Travis Rice Pro Split, the only true twin splitboard slightly on the wide side available and with magnetraction. I'm mounting Karakoram bindings on it today and will head off to the mountain next week for the first test ride Will write a review if lucky with some wind
