An old friend of mine took a shot at this a while back and maybe this will help.

Miami @ Crandon or Matheson hammocks now thru March.
OBX all of April to May 15th.
Corpus May 15th to end June.
Hood River July thru end August. (cabarete is also good or better).
Brazil Sept to November.
Back to Miami.
All year wind.
Rinse and repeat............................
P.S. the way I have this itinerary is because I know being cold will really reduce your time of actually wanting to be out on the water

Would def agree with this! I would swap Miami with Puerto Rico for Dec - March months. Not nearly as crowded in PR and so many cool, pristine spots to ride. Good Waves too!! Ive also been in Brazil for Oct/Nov and certainly agree here - Go to Florianopolis - The girls are hotter in the south of Brazil.

Toby, I just noticed that this was posted 10 YEARS AGO! HOLY CRAP! One more way to feel old today!
Are these still correct, or would they be due for updating? You know, new spots that have been discovered, others that might not be good to go to now b/c of political, crime, etc..
Just wondering b/c this seems like a pretty nice tool to use for deciding where to go on a kite vacation!
Thanks,
SENDIT!
