Hi,
I am currently riding an underground 132FLX which I like alot but I wanted to get a slightly bigger board. I was thinking of the Brokite given all the good reviews online.
I mostly ride in chopy conditions and like to boost, backroll etc. No unhooked yet but would like to progress to it.
Upwind is very important as I sometimes kite in very strong currents.
Which board would be better the Hybrid or the Pop?
Thanks

I haven't tried (or even seen) either of them but like you I'm interested in both. They do have seriously good reviews. I'm sure they would both be fine for what you describe but I expect the hybrid to be a bit more allround, better in chop, and the pop to be better for unhooking. But why not send them an email as well, unless you already have ?

Never rode one, but several locals here in west Michigan own them and swear by them.

I have a hybrid 135 and would highly recommend it. The construction really smooths out the chop allowing you to ride with more speed. As far as the comparison between the pop and hybrid they are pretty similar but the hybrid turns better and will be better in the chop. You also mentioned current and needing a bigger board. I think you will be happy with the 135 for that. It's not much bigger than what you have but it's 43cm wide so it's got some girth and will get you going much earlier. What I noticed most the first time I rode a bro was the weight. They are extremely light and ride like a much smaller board.

I rode the Hybrid in Corpus this spring for a few days. It's a great board. Like Jwood said, it's insanely light. It rode great through chop, popped really well and was considerably faster than my NHP. It also went up wind better.
Never rode the Pop so can't comment....
Jerry makes great boards. You can't go wrong.

Great board! Light and stiff with lots of rocker so really fun and smooth on large chop/ waves. Landings are super nice. Carving is awesome. Good durability so far as well. Upwind is not as good as flat boards but not an issue at all.
Love the board and recommended it to others who enjoyed it as well.
