Anyone tried using a north bar with a core kite?

I used an Xr3 15m with a north bar during over a year. No problem. Only issue if I recall correctly is that the knots/loops are reversed between rear and front lines.

Older North bars (pre-2015) have the Y split roughly 2m closer to the bar than the 2015 North bar. Those bars (pre-2015) have the Y at virtually (about 10cm difference) the same point as the Core Sensor 2 bar (I had a 2012 North bar and compared it with my Core Sensor 2).

Now that Core has a supported single front-line flag out system on their bars, does that mean their newer kites will no longer flag with a double front line system, or are they backwards compatible with older bars?

An exampel

22 meter lines. A kite thats 4 meters from tip - tip (pumped). If the lines splits right at the trimstrap the angle from the pigtail is 84,63 degrees. If the Y is about 5 meters up the angle at the pigtail is 83,68 (only 1 degree difference!!). If the Y is about 10 meters up the angle from the pigtail is 80,41. If you pump your kite hard i highly doubt it makes a difference

Maybe a semi supporting 5th makes a difference but not the angles. At least not if it is splitting only 5 meters up the centerline

Well from scientific point of view you may be right. But I felt a great difference flying airush razros 2013 with 3m (custom made) split and stock split (just at the trim).

Anybody tried a Fone Linx Bar on a Duotone rebel ?
I like the North bar nut have to buy Evert year onother becouse of whereout ! Broke my lines 2 times in 2 years and last week the safety ring line snapt ! Really shitty lines for such a wonderfull kites !
So i was thinking Core bar or Fone Linx Bar !
Do anybody know the hight of the split on these 2 bars ?
For the knowledge i kite about 80 times a year
