I am actually quite interested to see how well this bar works. It seems like a very clean and efficient system and can't be any worse for wear than a clam cleat or pull/pull system. I really like how clean the system looks.

You haven't seen the picture of it being tested on here? It's legit, it seems.

That was from the "$1,000 bar" thread . . . this sport, eh.

Quote from one of our local lads: "Used it last year in Mauritius - they asked us to find fault with it and we tried to ram as much sand as poss into it to Bung it up - ( didn't happen) and actually has very simple engineering - wasn't convinced until I used it - certainly not for everyone but with a simpler line layout it did work really well in waves for effortless depower for cruising / free ride I would point people towards the standard bar - it will be costly"

Used it three sessions, after the BRM CCS bar....went kitesurfing, and the bar worked flawless! If it only get rid of the chicken loop...

North doesn't want the pictures to be shown officially yet.

News with all details will follow.

I have used it. It's actually pretty damn awesome and polished (even with using an older proto). For my lightwind spot I still might want a cam cleat system since it can be very gusty, and constant adjustment of the trim really helps when trying to stay upwind.

But for regular and unhooked riding  :D especially since the flat depower center untwist your lines after rolls and loops when you untwist your bar.

A bar that hasn't been tested yet for a price that probably cost the same as a kite? No thanks, I'll stick to my old school bar till all the kinks and price has been worked out

Well, it's more innovative than the cabrinha butt ball. At least they're trying.

Still doesn't look better to me than the dead-simple above the bar clamcleat.
