it was missing like 30% of the jumps (mostly the bigger ones).. After a bunch of emails, it turned out that they were filtering out "suspicious" jumps.. I don't recall the exact criteria but it would be almost impossible to score a jump over 10m or 5 sec.. I also pointed out a number of bugs in their iphone app, but after 2 months they still did not fix much, so I returned the thing..

They are surfers, not kitesurfers.

I have a woo3...is the case meant to be waterproof? Mine definitely isn't, and now the contacts are corroding...

I thought it was watertight so I left it overnight in my board ready for the next day's session....and now I'm struggling to charge it. Any suggestions? Is it just a dodgy case?

I don't have a receipt as I was lucky enough to win it in Sri Lanka, so I don't know how to warranty it!

I assume it is suposed to be waterproof, at least mine seems to be more or less. But I also think you are suposed to be able to continue using the old mount as well, so your contacts corroding after leaving it inside the (wet) box for a night sounds strange.

It's not 100% waterproof, it helps but not fully having said that it doesnt matter. If it corrodes just brush of the corrosion and you are good to go as the woo itself IS waterproof. Charging issue is something different and affects me too...just wiggle it a bit in the charger and you should be fine like me.

My electric toothbrush is 100% waterproof and has wireless (induction) charging - why can't the Woo have the same?

Size and weight of wireless charging and economy of scale for a custom charger.

You would end up with a much larger product. Even the cheap wireless chargers for phones are close to credit card sized pads. You'd end up paying triple the price for the product in the end after all the testing that would need to go into it. A plastic box is way simpler.
