I can't comment on the 10 - I have a 12 though. I weigh 240ish and ride a 139 board most of the time. For a while, i had nothing between a GTS 17m and my dice 12m. there was some overlap between the two at around 18-21mph - i could get away with either depending on whether it was the lulls or gusts at 19.

The dice is a great kite. I now have a 14m evo to fill the gap. apart from the extra 2m, the evo has considerably more low end - it's much better at staying upwind when you're getting too underpowered.

The dice is my favorite kite - it's like an SUV of kites - go anywhere - do anything but I'd say the one weakness is it's low end. If push came to shove, I'd take a 10m evo over a 10m dice for low end... maybe it's my technique, but the dice is so forgiving in 95% of it's wind range - it lets you get away with dumb mistakes. It doesn't let you get away with being oversheeted on it's low end.

Not sure if any of this helped at all... I didn't get my dice for low end so i tend not to use it for that.

I can't comment on actual windspeed for when I used my 9m Dice, but it is definitely not a low wind kite.

2016 compared to 2015 the low end has improved, but it is still very much on/off.
The kite works great until it does not anymore, and then there's not much you can.

I have often found myself struggling in light winds with my 12m Dice (2015) when others were on 12m Neo doing fine.

If you're looking for a low end kite, it is not the Dice. The C-kite DNA shows up a little there, it tends to fall out of the sky when the wind drops just a little.

How much do you weigh and what sort of board are you riding?

For me the published numbers are close since it turns so damn quick so you can really move it to get going.

hi! thanks everybody for the useful info
I'm 80kg and I ride a brunotti dimension 135, a rrd surfboard 5.9 and a rrd 10kts 145.
So, the dice would't pull more that other kites.
Wheres the c profile weak low end it could be solved due to its speed.
So i guess it's better to buy a 9m and a 12m as well.

Yes, it you want to gain on the low end, get a 12m.

The difference in low end between the 12m and 10m will be quite noticeable.

yup, the 12 is a monster of a kite - my favorite. If i weren't such a fatass, I'd be able to get going in mid teens on it.
