I can understand dropping 1200 USD on a foil, but a twintip not so much... I am really curious who is going to fork out that much money for a board. The Shinn Monk is half the price and probably a better board.

Out of curiosity, why do you think 1.2k is ok for a foil but not for a twintip?
this thread is starting to sound something like "i think it's smart to spend the money on the stuff i like to spend it on, spending on anything else is stupid".

12 hun is cheap by carbon foil standars where the average is around the 2k mark.
A foil is also a hell of a lot more complex in design and manufacturing than a plank.

The board looks pretty sweet in shape and bottom profiling but 1100 euros? Meh...

Just noticed that Simon at Nomad is knocking out carbon/"spectra" boards for close on €2,000 ! But at least this is for a custom board.
Made me think back 15years or so when Tad Ciastula started making boards with this new wonder-material

That's the top o' the line models though -- the "cheapos" are €600 and they're full carbon too. That's reasonable in anyone's books.

Anyone else think it looks like a Naish Monarch?
