Repurpose a airrush choptop for foiling

Ciao builders,

I have a choptop 5'3" gathering dust and was wondering if I could repurpose for foiling.

No foil yet (so no attachment method). Given I have to mod it for the foil, what are you opinions on mounting system.

Easiest is to buy one of those stick on foil attachment plates, but they cost 150€ or something.
In any case you will want to stick with a plate mount.
Next easiest is to add through holes. Search around on this forum, there's info how to do it.

I was wondering about the shape being good as a foil platform.

I'm not an expert at shape for foil board, but if you look at the foilboard shapes for free ride, they usually have a stubby outline. I've been out 13 sessions (before I screwed up my back last week).
My experience is the wider and stubby nose prevents nose dive when touching down abruptly. My instructor opinion Mexico said point nose boards tend to get sucked under when you do a nose down. I think you need a lot of area at the nose.
