I am reorganising my board quiver. the final piece of the puzzle ( for now ) is a strapless surfboard to sit between a shinnster and a twintip. I am looking at a 2015 f one mitu but not sure what size to go for. I am looking at the 5'8" but not sure if the 5'6" would be better. I am about 78 kgs. it will be used when nicely powered up as I have the shinnster for the underpowered days. if it matters my kites are Airush waves 12, 9 and 7.
any advice welcome.

You could actually ride either one. The Mitu 2015 is a wave/freestyle board which feels bigger that it s length would suggest. If you intend to use it primarily for freestyle I would go for the 5'6''. If you are looking for an all-round board (even in strong wind) I would recommend the 5'8''.
I personally ride the 5"6" (65kg) for light wind days and freestyle and own an other narrower board for down the line wave ridding.
Hope this helps

Hi. I am 87 kgs and also have the Mitu, Shinnster and well as a couple of TT's. I've got the 5"10 and in hindsight, would prefer the 5"8. Go the smaller one I think.

82kg/5'11"/old guy, don't work any more.
Shinn Monk 135 x 42, SS Rally 5/7/9/12 (also Shinn King G + Contra 15 which I very rarely use). Time to use a surfboard but will keep my Monk. Was a wave sailor for 30 years in a previous life so I like rocker. Where I kite it's small waves, chop, flat water, typical UK south coast conditions. Also Morocco/Barbados/Cape Verde etc. but that's only once or twice a year so the priority is use at home.
So F-One Mitu Pro 5'6" or 5'8"? Or just choose the colour I like best?

Sounds like I need a 5'8"?

For your weight 5'8 is the perfect fit as an all-round wave board.
It is
"Mitu’s go-to board for just about every condition he rides in, whether that is throwing freestyle tricks on flat water or getting shacked in double overhead barrels at One Eye… "
