Righto. I'm ready with low friction ring and shortened chicken loop.
What royal pain in the arse shortening the chicken loop.

I had about 20 session with this setup
I like the rigid aluminum slider the most - there is no soggy rope feeling. There are 2 amendments that make this setup somewhat cluttered. The centering rubber band, and backup rope. The rubber band is designed to resist steel O ring free sliding to return it back to neutral when there is no force on it (that is when turning from toeside to normal). Finding the optimum rubber band thickness (defining the force) involved some trial and error.
The backup rope is redundant -- I simply wasn't confident my alum rod connection is robust enough.
Less ghetto version of the same thing (in development)
Back side showing rod locked in the bar
(to be covered with plastic)

Just did this to the wife's harness - she's a shorty and reach is a constant battle.
Besides reach, I wanted to completely eliminate the risk the hook adds. No more accidental unhooking and (more importantly) no chance of a bar-end or line getting caught up.
I simply chopped off the hook - retaining 3 knobs to help keep the leash hitch in place - it's a very short spreader and also has screws retaining the padding so the hitch is unlikely to move.

Pretty much what I did as well. Works brilliantly.

Here we are, test done and works great. The CL tube is hold by the ring groove shape and doesn't exit if pull power is lost.
As you can see without shortening the OZONE CL tube you have 3cm more.
Available soon on all DYNABAR V9 models

maybe this quetion has been answered before , sorry for that. but where do you buy the two metal triggers inside the plastic balls ? i have a similar set up (which I love to remove the hook torque but keep the pull point stable), but to make it on all my bars I need to find each time a second hand old cabrinha leash or even bar ... do you know a shop to buy it as a spare part ?

Yeah, swage eye is a close estimate, but you gotta salvage and covet the real deal pins where you can. They have the two little prongs on either side to keep the pin seated properly and not pop through the ring they are fastened to as well as the proper offset of the pin to seat and open perfectly under load. I went through all of this when rebuilding bars and fashioned suitable pieces with a rotary tool from various stainless leash clips. One cracked, the others held up, but none are anywhere near as nice and purpose fit as the real pins as used by BRM. Took me forever to source three of em to do up the spreader bar end and two bars. Special thanks to the donors. Edit: Roger at XL kites sent me the first one. Sorry if you get a deluge of people asking for old Cab pins, but you deserve mention. The right kind of guy for the kite biz. Willingly goes the extra mile because he has his heart in it.

exactly. I also use this exact pin for its good design. So we seem to have the same sourcing problem. I wonder where Greg from BRM buys them for his bars.
