I wonder if it's because custom/border tax can be complicated to compute, so they will rather let you pay shipping that way you get the bill from custom through the shipping company, it's easier for small company to deal with that stuff that way, and shipping shouldn't be that expensive.gmb13 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 28, 2017 1:15 pmNo answer...
I think the free shipping is basically a scam. They charge everyone in Europe 20% regardless of what the actual tax is. When I asked them to invoice me without the VAT Tax (as canaries are outside the EU) they all of a sudden needed me to pay for the shipping. Very suspect communications.
Too bad, as I really want to give these a try for foiling coaching, but I will not be ripped off on shipping and tax.

Seems legit to me, most places in the USA do free shipping to lower 48 and charge a ton for Hawaii. That's kind of the same deal being in the Canaries.
